For the SkillMatch application, which I designed, i carried out a complete Product Design process based on a Design Thinking approach. This process included user research, problem definition, user journey mapping, UI design, and the creation of a design system, in order to build a user-centered.
The project was born from the observation that it is often difficult to quickly find a qualified and trustworthy tradesperson, adapted to one’s location and specific needs.
To better understand real user expectations, I conducted a research phase that included an in-depth benchmark of applications from various sectors (services, mobility, and networking) as well as an analysis of the behaviors and needs of the two main target groups: clients and artisans.
The main challenges were to design an experience that remained smooth and intuitive despite the diversity of user profiles and to structure clear user journeys enabling quick and effective connections.
I then created user flows and wireframes to model the key paths, followed by the development of a complete design system (components, variants, and styles) to ensure both visual and functional consistency.
Finally, i completed the project with a modern art direction supported by custom illustrations, giving SkillMatch a strong and distinctive visual identity

You can easily spot available professionals nearby for quick assistance. Each artisan has a detailed profile featuring their specialties and pricing for clear and transparent comparisons.
